Ko je še govoril, glej, jih je obsenčil svetal oblak in, glej, glas iz oblaka je rekel: »Ta je moj ljubljeni Sin, nad katerim imam veselje, njega poslušajte!« Ko so učenci to slišali, so padli na obraz in se silno bali. Jezus pa je pristopil, se jih dotaknil in rekel: »Vstanite in se ne bojte!« (Mt 17,5-7)

Noch während er redete, warf eine leuchtende Wolke ihren Schatten auf sie und aus der Wolke rief eine Stimme: Das ist mein geliebter Sohn, an dem ich Gefallen gefunden habe; auf ihn sollt ihr hören. Als die Jünger das hörten, bekamen sie große Angst und warfen sich mit dem Gesicht zu Boden. Da trat Jesus zu ihnen, fasste sie an und sagte: Steht auf, habt keine Angst! (Mt 17,5-7)

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” (Mt 17,5-7)
